We have recently provided the new kitchen ventilation system for Nestle UK at Tutbury in Staffordshire.
The project called for a substantial ventilation system which could cope with the demand of a new and exciting staff restaurant area.
At the time of installation, this was the largest Nestle project worldwide and will result in the grouping together of all of Nestle’s coffee processes under one roof.
The extract system was comprised of 60m of fire rated ductwork terminating at the factory plant room. The supply system was fully insulated to allow for the tempering of the supply air. Both the extract and supply ventilation had EC fans to reduce energy consumption whilst the main canopy was fitted with 97% efficient Jeven JSI-R Cyclone grease filters.
The installation was complemented with a fully integrated service distribution unit and feature canopy.
